Celebrity Match

Ever wanted to know how compatible your are with Britney Spears, Anna Kournikova or Brad Pitt? Or wanted to know who’s your most compatible celebrity love? Use CelebMatch.com to find out!

CelebMatch.com uses the scientific method of biorhythms to calculate the compatibilities. Use CelebMatch.com to calculate your most compatible celebrity love or select a celebrity yourself and CelebMatch.com will show the compatibility.

My question, what is a biorhythm?

Biorhythms are a method to predict three cycles in your life based on your birthday. These cycles are the physical, emotional and intellectual cycle. Each of these cycles goes through different phases: high, low and critical.

Right. Anyway according to this my matches were Martha Plimpton (99%), Traci Lords(98%), Elisabeth Rohm(97%), Tara Reid(97%) and Chanelle Hodge(97%). Great, I am compatible with a washed up porn actress and a bunch of unknowns.

Weird Vending Machines

Wouldn’t it be great to combine that game where you lower the claw to get a stuffed animal with a lobster tank? Wait, already done. Some other weird vending machines here.
UPDATE
There are even better vending machines at the Quirky Japan site including the used underwear vending machine. No picture for it though.(thank god).

Weird, Strange & Just Plain Bad Art

Some hmm, interesting art at Bert Christensen’s Weird, Strange and Just Plain Bad Art Collection.

Catapult Watches

catapult2n.jpg

The only watch that’s also a weapon- it shoots BBs, dried peas, popcorn kernels, lentils and more up to 8 feet accross the room! This stainless steel watch will be the envy of the classroom or the meeting room. Use it to “wake-up” those sleepy headed co-workers and classmates. When they look around to see who’s been pelting them with spitballs, you’ll just be casually checking the time.

Not too late to put this on my Christmas list. Get it now before Homeland Security bans it!!

Scam of the week

I was listening to the radio on the way to work and heard a commercial from the International Star Registry which is an organization that will take your money and then tell you that you can pick a star and name it. They will also send you:

The International Star Registry gift package includes a beautiful 12″ x 16″ parchment certificate, available framed or unframed, with the name of your choice, dedication date, and telescopic coordinates of the star. You’ll also receive an informative booklet with charts of the constellations plus a larger, more detailed chart with the star you name encircled in red.

And all this for $54!! Cheap money to own a piece of the heavens right? Well what they don’t tell you is that the only organization that can name stars is called the International Astronomical Union. What the Star Registry does is take your money, send you out a 2 dollar star chart with “your” star’s coordinates, and then write down the star’s name in THEIR own book. A book, that no astronomer, amateur or professional, will ever see or care about. The International Star Registry is taking advantage of people through misdirection. In my book that is just plain wrong.
