I really think Obama should grab the whole “Magic Negro” thing and run with it, throw it back in his detractors faces.

How did Jen and John C. a message into the ticker?

I hope “blatant racism” was one of their resolutions.

Ah, the “Party of Lincoln” strikes again.

At least they were being positive.

Is this real? I mean, are there independent corroborations? Would it be that difficult to mock up a crawl on your laptop using some cheap video editing software?

Just thought I’d ask since this would be the best site to be contemptuously distrustful of human nature and motives. ;-)

Victor Borge turns 100 today!

Chris, if you don’t make official mention of it, it means that you… well, I won’t say it — but WE WILL KNOW!

I think the next time I consider dating someone, my first question to them will be “Do you watch Fox News?” If their answer is yes, my follow-up will be “But you’re watching it for amusement, right?”
Perfect screening question!

All cable “news”shows are just that, shows. And I might add some of the so called news people on the network TV news are more interested in how they rate/look than fact checking.Anyway it’s up to the individual to find the truth if possible. And I prefer Jon Stewart’s Daily Show for the news. Most Fox people thought for along time Jon was “reporting lies”even reported on it,then later tried to copy his type of comedy.Needless to say their show sunk after a few short weeks.

I read elsewhere how this happened. Fox News was doing a Christmas promotion where you could send in a holiday greeting by email and they’d put it on the crawl. Then they didn’t check them too well. Something like this was inevitable. Idiots.

Sometimes I wonder whether it’s intentional or just sheer idiocy. It wouldn’t really surprise me if some sadistic, crazy, racist, Republican (or any combination of those) programmer lets this stuff through and laughs manically the entire time…

If this is authentic all I can say is wow.

Just lifted this comment off of the foxnews.com website, on the comments page from a stoty about how George HW Bush would love to see Jeb run for president someday:

“If Niggerbama lasts 20 minutes in office, you leftist wackjobs wil be thirsting for another Bush to be President. If you let an animal who should be in a zoo run your healthcare, military, and other affairs, you will regret it. I think that yard ape should be relegated to the National Zoo. ”

Wow.

Take the famous “Change” poster and exchange the words for “Magic Negro”. Rock. Yeah.

For the sake of Americans (even those mindless bigots who post comments such as those) and for the sake of the world, I very much hope that Obama does the job that he was elected for and a damned good one at that.

i don’t really think the expression “magic negro” is very offensive, especially when juxtoposed with comments like the one that patricio has brought to our attention.
wow, indeed, THAT is offensive.
