This song was used as a theme for the show - most people don’t realize how morbid it really is.
The lyrics were written by Robert Altman’s teenage son. I don’t think the movie would have been the same without it. Great flick.
I think I read somewhere that Robert Altman’s son made more money from this song than Altman made for directing the movie.
I can honestly say that I consider this one of the most overrated movies ever.
I’m not a huge Altman fan.
I totally forgot about the homage to the ‘Last Supper’ tableau here. Brilliant.
This plays even funnier in the book, which is excellent.
